Methods

IN BRICK HOUSE Beginning on JANUARY 10, 2018
The Bible is unlike any other literary collection. Reading the Bible well can change the focus of your daily life, soften your heart, and improve your relationships. But reading the Bible can seem overwhelming. Some parts of the Bible are simple and easy to apply. Others are complex. Still others may seem irrelevant to modern life. In Methods, you’ll discover an approach to reading the Bible that helps you better know your heavenly Father and better apply his life-giving truths.  Facilitated by Pastor Mark Young, Methods runs for 6 weeks beginning on Wednesday, 1/10, and running through Wednesday, 2/14.

PRAYER TEAM

IN WORSHIP CENTER 101
An intercessory group focusing on the prayer needs of the Palmcroft community (specific requests from weekly Connect cards and the online Prayer Wall) and Palmcroft missionaries.

NETS 21

Tuesdays - Beginning November 7TH

For many, sharing their faith is the most difficult obstacle in the life of a believer. Not because they don’t care about the lost, or don’t want to talk to another about their faith. They simply lack understanding about their crucial and God-given role in evangelism, and therefore the necessary confidence and motivation to engage in a spiritual conversation.

NETS  brings a fresh perspective on evangelism, and helps create an effective, individualized, natural approach and motivation to readily begin sharing the Good News with another. In an informal, small group setting NETS breaks down the basics of evangelism to simply understandable, and easy to reproduce steps. And fishing for men becomes a natural way of life.

PALMCROFT MEN - The Foundry

Wednesdays | 6:30 am or 6:30 pm | FORUM 400

New Series!  Re-SET

There comes a time in every man's life where we just need to park it. To sort things out. To reset.
Jesus didn't come so we could happily go along our way and not have our faith matter. Men are called to live outrageously beyond the norm. Beyond jobs, soccer games and the gym. But sometimes it takes a timeout to gain the necessary perspective.  Re-set is a new 14-week series in The Foundry, based on One man's life who taught us to never settle. All men welcome.

As an account full of harsh judgment unfolds, we find in its midst a rare and pure gem: the truest and purest of loves. Be amazed by the love of Hosea for his wayward spouse, and more amazed by the unfailing love of God for His wayward people, and for all people. Hosea showers us with hope, hints and portents pointing to the coming of the promised Messiah.

GIDEON: YOUR WEAKNESS, GOD'S STRENGTH

LISA DAVIS | RYAN HALL

Through a look at the life of Gideon, you can discover that instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, you can see them as the gifts, given specifically and strategically by God to unlock the door of God’s strength.

Tuesdays | 9:00-11:00 AM

LORD, CHANGE MY ATTITUDE BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE

PAM MCPEEK & SARA HAMLIN | FORUM 400
What does God think about attitudes? This study from James MacDonald uses examples from the Israelites’ journey out of Egypt to show that attitudes can affect whether someone stays in the wilderness or enjoys the blessings of the promised land. It’s a powerful combination of in-depth Bible study and real-life application, including case studies, prayers, and examples of good and bad attitudes from both testaments that believers can apply in their own lives to develop better attitudes.

REVEALING THE MYSTERIES OF HEAVEN

MARGO VALCANOFF | FORUM 100
What we think about heaven determines how we live today. Our citizenship is in heaven (Phil. 3:17-21) so we are instructed to set our minds on things above, not on things on the earth. (Col. 3:2).  God wants us to study heaven, visualize heaven, and look forward to the place He is preparing for us.  His purpose is to change us now in this life so we are heavenly minded and more earthly good!

REAL MOMS…REAL JESUS

RACHEL SLOMA & LACEY PURCELL | FORUM 302
In Real Moms...Real Jesus: Meet the Friend Who Understands, Jill Savage introduces Jesus to real, down-to-earth moms with peanut butter and jelly on their pants. Each chapter addresses a behavior or decision of Jesus and relates it to the life of everyday moms. As a real friend, Jesus understands and wants to help you in your struggles as a mother.

Wednesdays | 6:30-8:00 PM
