Be Rich - week 4

Making “Be Rich” a reality

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Last week we started to put action behind “Be Rich” and began to discuss possible service opportunities (if your group is interested in helping Acacia families, contact Maggi Garrison for more information- (602) 863-0945 or maggi.garrison@palmcroft.com)

Here are a few more things to keep in mind:

Pray. That’s obvious, right? Pray as a group. Pray on your own. Even pray with others not in your Home Group!

Unify. Not everyone in a group may share the same exact passion for serving particular people or causes. Remember that the goal is to identify the best opportunity for the group- that doesn't mean that the opportunities you pass on are less important. The more your group is able to do together, the richer the experience will be.

Simplify. Dream big- be creative- think outside the box- but don't let big dreams smother action. Finding an opportunity in which everyone can participate and a time when everyone is available may be difficult- especially as we get closer and closer to the holidays. Be practical: small actions can have big impacts in the lives of the people you serve.

Hopefully, by this point you’ve narrowed your choices down (or maybe you’ve already landed on a specific ministry!) When it is time to contact individuals or organizations with whom you desire to serve, it can be very helpful to ask these question:

What can we do that would make a big difference for you?
How can we help you make a big difference?

Excited for what God is going to do through you and in you during our “Be Rich” campaign!
